About Honiton Leisure Centre
Working at Honiton Leisure Centre means becoming part of a supportive and dynamic team dedicated to promoting health and fitness
within the community. You'll have the opportunity to work in a versatile environment equipped with top-notch facilities and
programs designed to cater to diverse fitness levels and interests. Facilities include a 25-metre pool, a large multi-purpose gym,
badminton and squash courts, a dance studio, five-a-side football, and an outdoor tennis court. We also have imaginative exercise
classes for all ages and abilities. As a part of our team, you'll contribute to making a positive impact on the lives of our
members while enjoying the flexibility and growth opportunities offered by LED Group.
What We Need from You:
* Qualifications: You should have a Swim England or STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification.
* Commitment to Safety: You’re prepared to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all learners.
* Communication Skills: You can effectively engage with swimmers of all ages and maintain clear communication with parents.
* Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable managing registers and using electronic devices to keep things running smoothly.
* Proactive Attitude: You’re always looking to improve, whether it’s through training, mentoring, or staying up to date with
compliance.
What You Will Bring:
* Expertise: You bring a solid foundation in swimming instruction, with qualifications to back it up.
* Calm Under Pressure: You know how to stay composed in emergencies and handle situations with confidence.
* Motivation: You have a natural ability to encourage and inspire swimmers to do their best.
* Experience (Preferred): Previous teaching experience and extra qualifications like the R.L.S.S. National Pool Lifeguard
Qualification or a First Aid Certificate will set you apart.
* Dedication: You’re committed to continuous improvement, both for yourself and your learners.
