Fast Driving Test Booking LTD, a leading driving school, is seeking a dedicated
and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide
essential technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and enabling
the company to deliver high-quality services to our clients. This role is critical to maintaining
our IT infrastructure, supporting our staff, and protecting our data security.
As an IT Support Technician for a driving school,
the candidate role will be crucial in maintaining the
technology infrastructure that supports daily
operations. Candidate will be responsible for the
smooth running of the school’s website, maintaining
the admin panel for managing users and data, and
ensuring all electronic devices (PCs, tablets, mobile
devices, etc.) function correctly and securely.
You will troubleshoot and solve technical problems,
install new systems and updates, and offer guidance
to staff and students on best technology practices.
You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless
integration of tech solutions into driving instruction,
student registration, and online services provided by
the school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Management:
Maintain and update the driving school's website to
ensure accurate information is provided.
Manage the admin panel of the website, ensuring
seamless operation of online registration, bookings,
and other digital services.
Implement website improvements, including security
updates, plugins, and optimizations.
Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues,
and resolve downtime problems.
Collaborate with content creators or the marketing
team to post regular updates and maintain an
engaging online presence.
2. Device Management:
Oversee and maintain all electronic devices (PCs,
laptops, mobile phones, tablets, printers) used by the
school.
Set up, install, and configure new devices, software,
and applications for staff and students.
Ensure proper functioning of devices for driving
simulation programs, learning platforms, and other
digital tools.
3. Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
Provide timely technical support for staff and
students, diagnosing and resolving hardware,
software, and network issues.
Maintain and manage the school's email system,
networks, and other IT infrastructure.
Respond to service requests and escalate complex
issues when necessary.
4. System Maintenance and Administration:
Manage user accounts, permissions, and credentials
for school systems.
Ensure reliable operation of school databases and
learning management systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,500.00-£40,641.00 per year
