Job Overview:
The E-Commerce and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s online presence and sales. This role combines e-commerce functionality and optimisation with digital marketing knowledge to ensure the continued growth and improvement of the company’s existing e-commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the e-commerce function, and the creative side of the business. This position is new to the business so has real potential to be moulded and developed into much more.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Management:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and content updates.
· Manage the e-commerce team, who maintain the website and optimising the customer experience, including user interface and navigation.
· Monitor and analyse website performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Work with the team to ensure the website is optimised for performance, security, and SEO, liaising with the product specialists where necessary.
· Implement strategies to improve the customer journey, including personalized marketing and retargeting campaigns.
Digital Marketing:
· Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales to the website.
· Oversee content creation, social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing campaigns.
· Work with the marketing team to develop high-quality marketing materials that align with brand guidelines.
· Analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to inform and optimize future initiatives.
Strategic Planning:
· Work closely with sales, and customer service teams to ensure marketing and e-commerce efforts are aligned with broader company initiatives.
· Identify and analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing and e-commerce strategies.
Qualifications:
· Experience in e-commerce management and digital marketing.
· Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Magento2, Shopify, Amazon, eBay), Google Analytics and marketing automation tools.
· Proven track record of increasing online sales and improving marketing ROI.
· Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
· Excellent project and team management and organisational skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
· Familiarity with website development processes.
· Knowledge of stock systems and integrations.
· Creative mindset with an ability to think strategically and innovate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
