Overview
The Annex Tapas bar and restaurant, The Malthouse & The Yard Bar are looking for Burger Chef to support the next stages of the expanding team & business, The Yard bar & Kitchen. You will need to be able to perform in a busy restaurant in Tavistock and work part of the team.

The Yard bar & kitchen will be opening every Friday & Saturday evening, however this will expand with business need, the successful candidate will also be able to access hours at the main restaurant (The Annex) next door.

We are looking to elevate what we offer already so experienced individuals, however if you are someone looking for their next step, but have experience, this might be the role for you.

Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Support and manager kitchen operations efficiently
- Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices

Qualifications & skills
- Good experience of food production
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking methods
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards

Desirable, but not essential.
- Minimum of 6 months of kitchen experience
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols
- Proficiency in food production and cooking techniques
- Excellent hospitality skills with a customer-focused approach
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a culinary environment
- Preferred experience in supervising and managing teams
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and serving practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
