The Assistant Management Accountant supports the finance team in managing the company’s financial operations. This role involves assisting in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and the preparation of financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts.

Support the management accountant in analyzing financial data and trends.

Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Help in preparing financial forecasts and updating financial models.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing departmental expenditures.
- Support cost control initiatives and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
- Assist in the implementation of new financial software or tools as needed.
- Prepare and maintain financial documentation and records.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- AAT & Part Qual CIMA/ACA
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and standards.
