Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and preparing various outdoor spaces for construction projects.
Duties
- Excavate and backfill trenches
- Lay foundations and install drainage systems
- Operate machinery such as diggers and compactors
- Assist with concreting and paving tasks
- Erect fencing and barriers as required
- Carry out landscaping duties including turfing and planting
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundworks is desirable
- Ability to operate relevant machinery safely
- Strong physical stamina for manual labour tasks
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £17.10-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
