About Us:
Become part of the kitchen team at Southernhay House, a well-established, independent hotel with a legacy of excellence since 2011. We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our friendly and professional team.

Role Overview:
As a Chef at Southernhay House, you will be part of a team of three Chefs, and one KP, responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food. You will ensure kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and proper documentation, and manage the kitchen solo during quieter periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Run the kitchen solo when required.
Maintain high culinary standards for yourself and the team.
Manage food purchasing, storage, and minimise wastage.
Ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Communicate relevant information with other Chefs.
Assist others in achieving their goals in both preparation and cleaning.

Exceptional culinary skills with attention to detail.
High standards for kitchen cleanliness, labelling, and food preparation.

Shift Details:

Daily shifts from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm (including weekends and bank holidays).
Evening shifts from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (splits are avoided where possible).
