What do you’ll do
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Reception Coordinator to join our facilities team in our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis. The usual standard hours for this role are 08:45 - 17:00.
Working in our main reception area you will be the face of our head office based in Exeter. You will often be the first point of contact our clients have with the Firm either in person or over the phone. You will be meeting and greeting internal and external clients ensuring they receive a warm welcome and leave with the best impression of Ashfords LLP.
Coordination of the reception team, ensuring it is covered at all times and reporting to the Facilities Manager. The firms meeting requirements are recorded in our room booking software and you will work alongside the IT team to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered, ready for our clients ahead of time.
Working as part of our reception team, you will assist in picking up calls, arranging meetings in other areas and providing an excellent level of client service.
Who you are
You will have experience working front of house, in a professional environment. With a positive and proactive attitude, you will use your initiative to support the reception team and provide the best service to our clients and employees within the firm.
You'll be an enthusiastic, well-organised self-starter who enjoys working within a busy team, as well as independently; and will demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the firm and its people.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels. Responsibility to supervise the reception team, therefore some experience in supervising members of staff is preferable. You will have the ability to be responsive to the commercial needs of the business and use initiative to effectively manage workload; remaining calm under pressure.
