Job Title: Facilities Assistant

Reports to: Property Manager and Assistant Manager

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Based: On-site Exeter

We are an established provider of quality student accommodation and are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to carry out general cleaning, security and caretaking duties of our student accommodation at The Printworks in Exeter.

These duties will include cleaning of stairwells, security, carrying out repairs, reporting faults, making access arrangements for contractors and prospective new tenants whilst liaising with residents and office staff in order to maintain the development to a high standard.

The position is to cover Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, be able to work on their own initiative, to prioritise workloads and respond to emergencies when called upon. For this position previous relevant experience within a similar setting is desirable. You will need good communication skills together with a caring, responsible and flexible approach.
