Customer Services - Order Processor
Part-time, fixed term up to the 9th December 2024, Office-based
Up to 75 paid hours per month – Worked over 10 consecutive business days per month – 2 consecutive weeks; Monday – Friday.
Salary: £11.44 per hour
About Us
Postscript is a mail order and ecommerce bookseller established in 1987 and based near Newton Abbot in Devon. We sell a wide variety of general and academic books through our monthly catalogue, website www.psbooks.co.uk and ecommerce channels. We are looking for motivated part-time seasonal office workers to assist with taking telephone orders during our busiest time of year. You will join a friendly, supportive and established team of people who enjoy talking to customers in a bookselling environment.
Reporting to the Customer Services Team Supervisor, you will join as an Order Processor on a three-month fixed-term contract. With previous customer services and/or order processing experience, you will have a highly professional, efficient and friendly approach to processing telephone and mail orders, and resolving customer queries. Full training and regular support will be provided to all successful candidates.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newton Abbot, TQ12 6RY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Available Shift Duration: Peak volume cover shifts over 2 working weeks of every month (75 hours total) 8 hour shifts (30 mins unpaid Lunch) between core hours of 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday.
