We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to help us define and build a brand-new infrastructure and Security architecture and improve processes. You’ll support your Cuckoo colleagues and the wider business to ensure we build a secure and supported environment and identify and respond to our changing business needs. You will report into the Senior Solutions Architect to ensure you’re aligning with the IT strategy, security, and implementation programs.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of roadmaps to capture requirements and highlight gaps within the existing systems and management processes.
- Managing the principles for compliance, services and the lifecycle of systems and IT technology projects and changes into the business teams.
- Helping to define operational requirements for RFQ’s.
- Supporting security operations and implementing improvement actions after security incidents occur
- Supporting the IT relationships with key business systems and other future Systems
- Building and integrating business systems to meet the company’s needs.
- Assessing the systems current architecture and working with the technical teams to recommend improvements
- Designing, develop and document, system integrations & processes - this Includes complex API integrations and testing.
- Effectively resolving technical problems as and when they arise.
- Providing supervision and guidance to business teams.
- Staying up to date with current and emerging technologies and suggesting relevant changes
- Informing various stakeholders of any issues with the current technical solutions
- Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices could have.
- Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
- Good knowledge of postman scripts for testing integrations
- Evidence of working around an architectural framework such as TOGAF.
- Previous project and delivery management experience.
- Great knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- A high level of understanding of Operations and Customer Service
- Familiarity with ‘Secure by Design’ approach
- The ability to remain calm when working to demanding timescales and deadlines.
- Previous experience working within a start-up/scale-up environment
