Job Opportunity: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Torquay 
Contract: Part-Time
Salary: £14.45 - £15.20 per hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 support to a student with specific learning needs.
• Assist with the student’s academic progress and personal development.
• Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
• Monitor and record the student’s progress, reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.

The Perfect Fit:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable).
• A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
• A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals.
