Here at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, we are looking for a Cashier to join our friendly, professional team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for counting and accurate reconciliation of all daily takings across a variety of revenue streams including bars, restaurants, outdoor activities, and receptions across 3 Holiday parks.
Position Details:
- Employment to start early March
- Flexible hours to suit the candidate ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week. There is also potential for job share.
- Some Weekend and bank holiday shifts will be required

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily banking and cash allocation process. Must have a good eye for detail to spot mistakes.
- Develop strong working relationships with cross functional team members
- Complete banking paperwork ahead of money collection
- Be the liaison between the company and G4S to organise all money collection and delivery
- Maintain change levels across all departments
- Complete monthly takings summary report
- Monthly reconciliation of all PDQ transactions
- Ensure all financial processes are followed in accordance with company guidelines
- Support the Accounts Department with administrative tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organised cashier area, order stationary etc. as and when required
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous cashier or money-handling experience required
- Excel experience and strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle money responsibly and accurately, must have an organised and thorough approach to work
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Driving licence and own transport essential
