We are actively seeking an experienced Head of Medical Engineering to work for an organisation based in Gloucestershire. The contract will last an initial 6 months but with likely extension or permanent contract Position: Head of Medical EngineeringLocation: GloucestershirePay rate: £32 to £38 per hour on an Umbrella or CIS basis Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain critical medical equipment including calibration and replacement
- Manage Medical Engineers and 4x Section Managers
- Procurement within medical engineering department
- Modernise medical engineering services with technical innovation
- Manage departmental budget and generate private income
- Use stakeholder and patient feedback to improve strategy
- Equipment safety tests and incident responses
- Compliance with MHRA and CQC
