We are looking for candidates ideally with Warehouse/Packing experience to join our family business in South Molton
- Full Time Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM;
- Job Type: Full Time; Temp ongoing with opportunity to go Permanent. Would consider part time or job share
- Salary: £12.50 per hour rising upon completion of probationary period
- Location: Pathfields, South Molton
Responsibilities of the Warehouse/Packing & Despatch Operative:
- Assisting with tasks in the manufacture of flat pack furniture
- To ensure good housekeeping in the warehouse environment
- To accurately and carefully pack finished items ready for shipping
- To accurately pick and pack hardware packs used to build flat packed furniture
- Book and despatch orders with couriers
- Communicate with customers electronically and over the phone regarding orders
- To work and communicate within a small team environment
As a Warehouse/Packing Operative you will need the following skills:
- Ability to maintain records
- Health and Safety awareness
- Warehouse experience - advantageous
- Attention to Detail
- Customer service
- Fork Lift experience - advantageous
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
