Demonstrator and Pre-Delivery Inspection position
Join our family business and deliver our renowned sprayers to Bateman customers throughout the United Kingdom. When you are not demonstrating our machinery you will join our Bateman team and road test our vehicles and complete their pre-delivery inspections and tests.
Reporting to: Sales Director/Service Co-ordinator & Production Manager.
Responsible for:
· Delivering machines
· Ensuring machines arrive in a timely manner and in good condition
· Commissioning machines
· Ensuring customers understand how to use their machine in order for them to get the most out of our product
· Being helpful and friendly
· Demonstrating machines
· Answering customers questions on the machines
· Making
· PDI testing of machines to ensure they are meet our standards before delivery
Job description
This role involves delivering and commissioning machines to customers, as well as working alongside our sales department to demonstrate the machine to potential customers. Applicants must be willing to travel all over the country spending periods of time away, usually 2-3 days away at a time, from home.
Person specification
Essential
· Good communication Experience with driving Combines, Tractors and other Agricultural machinery over varied terrain and knowledge of drilling processes and crop management.
· A positive attitude, reliable and organised
· Friendly, Positive and polite attitude
· Ability to work as a team and on their own
· Like meeting new people
· Must be willing to travel all over the country with overnight stays
Desirable
· Agricultural back ground
· Live within an hour of the factory
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £15.72-£19.74 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
