About the role

The NHS Employers Reward Team is looking for a Senior Programme Support Officer to support the delivery of their reward programme of work. This is a varied and busy programme which has a focus on how reward and recognition can support workforce challenges such as attraction, motivation and retention within the NHS.

As a Senior Programme Support Officer, you will:

Manage allocated workstreams that support and enable delivery of the programme
Research and source good practice which can be used to produce resources which can be shared with NHS trusts and external organisations
Coordinate and facilitate meetings for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain and develop web-based materials and communications.

About you

We would love to hear from you are interested in working at a national level to support employers in the NHS with reward and recognition.

You will have:

Some understanding of the NHS workforce and the wider issues currently affecting the NHS
Experience of leading or facilitating events or meetings and engaging the audience
Excellent organisation skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
Experience of using initiative and working with minimum supervision/independently
An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Good written skills, with experience of minute taking and producing web content.
