Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a flair for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols.
Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
Handle any customer inquiries or complaints related to food quality or service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food production processes.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices related to food safety.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that reflect current culinary trends.
