Muslim Hands are currently hiring Fundraising Outbound Callers to join their Call Centre Team.

All candidates must be enthusiastic, reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently. You will need to be able to speak in a clear and friendly manner, have knowledge of common Islamic terminology such as Sadaqah, Zakat, Sadaqah Jariyah, Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr, and also be able to speak in a polite manner at all times; respecting our donors and always leaving a good impression.

Any additional spoken languages would be a bonus.

Full training will be provided, however due to remote working you must be able to self motivate in order to reach the targets set. On a daily basis this will include calling our existing donors to ask for donations. You will need to familiarise yourself with all the work Muslim Hands does and also with our website www.muslimhands.org.uk.

Calling hours during Ramadhan will be from early afternoon up untill 30 mins prior to Iftaar time

You will also be expected to take part in our Live Appeals. This will mean providing telephone cover (again, remotely) from 7/8 pm until 12/1am or even later taking inbound calls & processing donations.

You will need to successfully pass the different stages of recruitment. If successful and once confirmed, you will need to apply for a DBS certificate (cost will be covered by Muslim Hands if you work with us for 3 months) and be able to provide two references before starting work. You will then be provided with training remotely over Zoom.
