Job Summary
Are you a whizz at Early Years admin? Little Farmers Childcare is friendly and growing nursery business with two settings. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by providing comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a details person with a strong interest in organisation, figures and paperwork.

Duties

Use Famly software to ensure smooth running of the setting. Previous experience with this software package would be great but training can be given if not.
Oversee Devon Local Authority funding applications, including all termly Headcount tasks.
Oversee internal compliance to ensure staff are up-to-date with training and certification
Support HR tasks including recruitment paperwork and onboarding of new staff.
Support onboarding of new children, including liaising with parents over paperwork.
Financial record-keeping as required.
Provide clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Maintain an organised office environment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Manage office and nursery supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are ordered and stocked.

Requirements

Proven experience in an Early Years administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Devon Local Authority funding tasks and Famly is highly desirable but training can be given if not.
Ability to perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with general office procedures and clerical tasks.
Competent computer skills.
Book-keeping experience/qualifications would be a bonus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
