Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrator and General Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the administrative functions of 4 residential care homes, with the focus on managing the buidling and maintenance aspects of the business. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in record keeping.

Responsibilities

Responsible for co-ordinating the administration of building repair and maintenance work, including urgent and routine repairs and maintenance
Liaising with trades people/contractors and keeping the Directors up to date
Organising safety inspections and managing remedial works
Sourcing reliable tradespeople and obtaining quotes for build repair and maintenance work
Reviewing maintenance reports and ensuring any remedial action is carried out
General administration duties
Comprehensive record keeping

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the property management sector.
Provden experience in reading maintenance reports and identifiying what action needs to be taken
Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
Proficient in office applications - for example Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent record keeping
A proactive approach to problem-solving

Please note that this role is based in Beadlam, North Yorkshire, not York. The role holder will need to be able to commute to the place of work each day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
