The Group is seeking a Finance and Compliance Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This role is dual focused and successful candidates will possess both finance and compliance skills as well as an ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Finance Duties

Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders.
Preparation of sales quotations and invoices.
Proof reading and reviewing sales proposals.
Managing licence renewals.
Processing employee expenses claims.
Stock control and reconciliation.
Assisting with the month end and year end close processes.

Compliance Duties

Assisting with the creation, implementation and upkeep of ISO compliance processes and policies.
Maintaining business quality and information management systems.
Maintaining and updating business registers.
Assisting with the employee and supplier onboarding/offboarding process.
Reviewing documents and ensuring data accuracy.
Assist with admin and clerical support.

Skills

Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes.
Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Experience with accounting software.
Understanding of ISO compliant business processes.
Competence in MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint and MS Outlook.
Strong data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in English Grammar.

Work Schedule/Location

Working Hours: Your normal hours of duty will consist of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Work location: Matford Business Park, Exeter. This is primarily an on-site role.

Security Clearance

All applicants MUST be sole UK nationals. Applicants holding an existing UK MOD security clearance will be at an advantage. However, for any applicant without existing security clearance, the ability and willingness to obtain UK MOD Security Clearance will be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
