Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in our newly refurbished pub with rooms. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the owner and management team, ensuring the smooth operation of food production and service, while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising daily operations within the dining and back of house areas to ensure efficiency and quality service.
Train, mentor, and lead team members in customer service , food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Support the management team and owner in implementing policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss performance, goals, and improvements.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or restaurant or high end food pub setting is essential.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
