Job Summary
We have a position available for a junior baker to join the Exploding Bakery team. You will be taught our recipes from scratch and learn the processes of baking in a commercial setup. You will need to have plenty of energy, a positive approach to work and a love of good food. Experience in handling food is preferred, but not essential, so long as you are keen to learn. It's a physical job with plenty of lifting, sifting and shuffling on your feet so will suit someone who likes to be active.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking
Follow recipes accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
Adhere to food safety regulations and practices throughout all stages of food preparation and production

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for baked goods is.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Availability to work shifts ranging from 6am to 7pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
