Overview Job Overview: Window Fitter

Driftwood Home Improvements, a growing family-run company based in Exmouth, is looking for an experienced Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fitting windows and doors, with a focus on delivering top-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. While experience in fitting conservatories is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.

As a Window Fitter at Driftwood, you will be responsible for installing various types of windows and doors, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with customers, providing expert advice and ensuring satisfaction with every installation.

Responsibilities

Install various types of windows and doors with high-quality workmanship.

Ensure installations meet safety standards and building regulations.

Provide expert advice and professional service to customers.

Perform finishing tasks like sealing and trimming.

Troubleshoot any on-site installation issues.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Assist with minor repairs or adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance

Pay: £21,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
