Bookkeeper

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Bookkeeper to join the team to support our established business on its growth journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in a similar position previously within fenestration or within the construction industry would be very advantageous.

- Day to day accounting responsibilities (including but not limited to:)

Manage both accounts payable and receivable
Daily financial entries and reconciliation
Debt Management / Credit Control
Production of Invoices

- Tracking Budgets

- Preparation of financial reports - monthly/annual VAT return - supporting Accountants

- Preparation of Daily Snapshot reports

- Review and support business processes and make suggestions for change

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

· Xero experience.

· Provide a high level of accuracy and precision to tasks.

· Must be organised, analytical, methodical.

· Must be able to multi-task and prioritise workload within specific deadlines.

· Previous experience using CRM’s

- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Additionally:

· Previous experience in the fenestration/construction industry would be advantageous.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

Totnes: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
