*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. *Responsibilities* - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. - Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are made to the highest quality standards. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. - Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. - Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience. - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. - Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential. - Strong understanding of food safety practices. - Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. - A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
