So4Bed Ltd is a British manufacturer based just outside Exeter in the Devon countryside, we’re a small family business manufacturing a unique range of luxury handcrafted, chemical-free bed mattresses and futons in our factory based in Woodbury.

We are looking to employ an experienced sewing machine operator / seamstress / seamster to join our small, experienced and upbeat team.

Prior sewing experience in an industrial setting is desirable. You will be required to cut fabric for the orders, construct, mend and alter our made to order mattress and futon covers.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce exceptional quality whilst working to very tight deadlines.

Experience using Over Locking & Embroidery machines preferred.

Confidence working with a range of fabrics and materials, along with a confidence to sew larger items.

Over time may be available during busier periods which will be offered to you by the Company Director as and when the workload dictates.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing business, with an opportunity to be involved in new product development.

We are offering a flexible working arrangement within our normal business hours (Monday to Thursday 0800-1700 and Friday 0800-1300), flexibility around school hours.
