The West Park Student Accommodation project at the University of Exeter is a comprehensive redevelopment of land, valued at approximately £250 million. The project involves the construction of seven buildings, including: Four high-rise, high-risk buildings Two low-rise buildings One refurbishment of the existing Birks Grange building, which will be demolished and transformed into a low-rise structure This site-based role spans approximately three years on-site, plus the PCSA stage. Residential experience is essential, and prior experience with student accommodation projects is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Lead project planning and scheduling to ensure efficient workflow. Oversee the coordination of construction activities and monitor progress. Manage project budgets and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Foster strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. Identify and mitigate project risks. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress. Requirements: Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally in large-scale projects, with a preference for residential or student accommodation experience. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently. Familiarity with construction project management software.
