Job Role: Regional Manager 

Salary: £40,170 per year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Location: South West – covering Exeter, Somerset and Weymouth

Additional information: 

  • Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes
  • Participation in an on-call, out-of-hours, rota
  • Regular travel across the South West to visit services and staff

 

The Role:

As a Regional Manager at Julian House, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming lives. Leading a diverse portfolio of services, you’ll empower Service Managers to deliver exceptional support, helping clients reach their full potential. 

 

As a key member of the Senior Operational Team, you’ll drive innovation, ensure high-quality service delivery, and champion our values. If you're a strategic leader who thrives on making a real impact, this is your chance to create meaningful change!

 

You’ll oversee our services across Exeter, Weymouth, and parts of Somerset, leading Outreach and Supported Housing projects dedicated to supporting individuals who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness. Your leadership will help transform lives and create lasting change in these communities.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead and InspireGuide Service Manager, oversee projects, and drive continuous improvements. 
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations of outreach, support and accommodation services fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Drive service KPI reporting with precise data and high-quality analysis. Identify performance gaps and implement strategic action plans for improvement. 
  • On-call: Participate in the on-call rota as a senior manager, providing essential backup support to local on-call teams when needed.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Build and nurture strong partnerships internally and externally, working closely with staff, stakeholders, and key agencies.

 

Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities

 

Qualifications / Requirements: 

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
  • Previous experience of managing services and team members across different locations. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the support needs of people facing homelessness, including those with mental health challenges, complex needs, and substance misuse issues.
