We are seeking to recruit three Quality Monitoring and Development Officers to support residential services, providing guidance to managers in ensuring good governance across all regulatory frameworks, and leading the continuous improvement agenda as educators. This role will be line-managed in collaboration with a dedicated Training and Development department. While the position may involve some remote working, your primary work base will be determined upon appointment and will be located at the most suitable commuting point from your home address. Please note that this is not a home-based role. The role will cover the following service areas: WEST : Plymouth, Cullompton, Chippenham, Worthing, and Bognor Regis CENTRAL : Eastbourne, Crawley area, East Grinstead, Worcester Park, and Morden EAST : Ramsgate, Deal, Dover, Faversham, Romford, Hornchurch, Harrow, and Ipswich The successful candidates will be required to travel to these services to provide governance support to registered managers. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and that each Registered Manager is collecting satisfactory evidence to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating in line with the CQC quality statements. This will involve gathering and analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and highlighting areas for improvement. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide prompt feedback to senior leadership are crucial, as is the ability to foster a learning environment through workshops and educational sessions when shortfalls are detected. To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: Previous line management or supervisory experience

Completed education to Level 5 or equivalent in a health and/or social care qualification

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the CQC regulatory framework and quality statements

Previous experience in teaching or presenting

Additional skills and qualities required for success in this role include: The ability to analyze, interpret, and report information clearly

Strong problem-solving abilities

Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with a range of managers

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online records systems

Understanding of Risk Management processes and Incident reporting

Willingness to travel between services

Personal Attributes : A strong team player with the ability to work independently

Capable of multitasking and remaining calm under pressure

Strong attention to detail
