Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and organised HR and Recruitment Coordinator to cover a maternity leave period. This position is fixed term for 12-18 months, full time and operates on a day shift.

As part of our small, friendly and busy HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function with our recruitment and HR processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our employees at managers.
Your main responsibilities will include;
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the HR department, directing queries as appropriate to the relevant team member and effectively trouble shooting where possible.
- Manage the HR mailbox triaging queries.
- Manage the recruitment of temporary workers liaising with agencies and hiring managers, organising pre-employment medicals and inductions.
- Supporting with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Responding to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting with weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordinate the processes in relation to sickness absence, family leave requests and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed.
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
- Professional, approachable, and consistent
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
- Process driven with an aptitude for complex processes
- Excellent IT systems skills
- Exceptional communication skills, applying diplomacy where needed
- Sensitivity to general HR situations
- Ability to act on own initiative, but also to know when to seek advice
- Ability to interact with varying levels of employees and manager and adapt style accordingly
