Highways Arborist Surveyor

Due to a recent contract win, they are looking to expand the team in the Southwest with Highways Arborist Surveyors. The projects will run from Launceston to Exeter and across to Bristol and Swindon. 

Job Title: Highways Arborist Surveyor 

 Location: Southwest England (Launceston, Exeter, Bristol, Swindon) 

 Job Type: Selfemployed, £180 per day 

Who you are:   

Qualifications: 

• Valid CSCS card. 
  

• PT1 qualification (or willingness to obtain). 
  

• Proven experience in arboriculture or a similar role is preferred. 
  

Skills and Attributes: 

• Strong knowledge of tree species and health assessment. 
  

• Excellent attention to detail. 
  

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
  

• Good communication and reportwriting skills. 
  

• Strong commitment to health and safety. 
  

• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and potentially outside standard hours. 
  

 Responsibilities: 

• Conduct detailed surveys of trees and vegetation along highways. 
  

• Assess the health, safety, and condition of trees. 
  

• Identify and document any hazards or potential risks. 
  

• Recommend appropriate actions for tree management and maintenance. 
  

• Maintain accurate records and produce reports. 
  

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
