We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a strong CDP preferably with breakfast/brunch experience to join the kitchen team here at Heron Farm Vineyard,

Our family-owned vineyard and Kitchen, in Honiton, East Devon. Our restaurant has a beautiful walled garden, and serves food that is fresh, seasonal, and as local as possible

including vegetables grown in our own kitchen garden on site

alongside our award-winning wine.

As part of our energetic kitchen team, you will be instrumental in delivering great food in a timely and organised manner, and in compliance with all food hygiene legislation.

You will proactively support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen as well as instinctively taking responsibility in their absence.

We expect the Chefs to: Assist the Head Chef in running service and the kitchen Have a role in managing and motivating a team, and looking after the rota Take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Head Chef to meet the standard and the quality of food Demonstrate knowledge of excellent kitchen management and make menu suggestions Demonstrate knowledge of costing menu items, and working to a set GP Ensure that production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality and standards.

Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 operational days of the week, including weekend days. Our core opening hours are 9

4pm Friday-Monday, we do also occasionally do evening special events.
