Job Description:
Are you detail-oriented and enjoy administrative tasks? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our payroll team. Your role will include:
Key responsibilities:
Team Collaboration:
Provide professional and helpful service to all employees and managers, working closely with payroll team members.
Administrative Support:
Handle payroll queries via email and phone, maintain payroll and time attendance systems (iTrent and Open Options), and process payrolls and expenses.
Accurate Calculations:
Calculate and check sick pay, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and perform calculations for maternity, paternity, adoption pay, leavers, unpaid leave, and back pay.
Compliance and Reporting:
Complete RTI submissions to HM Revenue & Customs and process payroll reports.
Data Management:
Gather, calculate, and input data to maintain the payroll system accurately.
Employee Changes:
Process starters, leavers, and transfers efficiently.
Expense Processing:
Manage and process employee expenses efficiently.
Experience Needed:
Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong proficiency in mathematics and attention to detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Skilled in managing email accounts and database management.
Excellent time management, organisational, and IT skills (including MS Office).
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Confident, self-motivated, and strong influencing skills.
