More detail about the role: We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity within the Renal department for an enthusiastic team member to join our Peritoneal Dialysis Assistant Practitioner team. This is a part-time permanent vacancy for a Band 3 or 4 looking to expand their knowledge of peritoneal dialysis and renal care. If the successful candidate enters at Band 3 level, they will be expected to work towards their Level 5 HND qualification. The role provides a unique opportunity to provide specialist peritoneal dialysis care to people in their homes. We offer an assisted peritoneal dialysis service which you will be a key part of, in which education of both staff and patients is a key aspect, along with working within the wider renal department to care for our patients. Our Assistant Practitioners form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our theatres teams to name just a few. You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person. Working Pattern: 30 hours between Monday to Sunday, 08:00 - 16:00, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
