Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work well within a team environment. The Labourer will play a crucial role in ensuring that work sites are safe, organised, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles.
Prepare and clean work areas before and after tasks are completed.
Operate basic machinery and tools as required, following safety protocols.
Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including carrying tools and materials.
Maintain a tidy work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on site.
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts effectively.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site.

Experience

Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to the role.
