LGV Class 1 (CE) Day Trunk Driver
Cullompton
We are seeking a reliable and professional candidate to join our team. This role involves working Tuesday to Saturday, primarily performing trunking work and assisting with the transhipment of goods at our Cullompton Yard.
The position involves:
- Loading/unloading of vehicles.
- Delivering chilled and ambient load.
- Delivering to depots in the South west.
- Dealing with customers face to face at delivery points and managing our customers' delivery expectations.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress.
- Attending regular training sessions.
- This position requires the successful applicant to be LST trained, as these trailers will be used daily for trunking work. Full training will be provided.
Personal Attributes:
- You must hold a UK Class 1 (CE) LGV Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
- Be able to work in a Multi temperature (chilled and ambient) environment.

- Basic salary £36,366.20pa based on an average of 9.6 hours per shift. Pay review due in December.
