Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Fixed Term until 31st July 2026.

South Devon College are recruiting for a Lecturer in Gas Engineering and Renewables to work with the Business Solutions Team and employers to develop and implement a curriculum that meets local/regional needs, such as the Level 3 Low Carbon Heating Technician Apprenticeship Standard. You will develop and deliver both Accredited and College Certificate based training to existing and new students whilst working with the Curriculum Head and Programme Co-ordinator to inform wider study Green Skills Curriculum offer.
The successful applicant will hold an NVQ level 3 Technical/Vocational qualification in Gas Engineering with experience of working as a Gas Engineer. You will be an excellent motivator with a keen interest in/understanding of student-centered learning. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders.
