SSIP Assessor (H&S / Construction)£28,000 to £30,000+ annual bonus + excellent training & progression + 22 days holiday + pensionPlymouthAre you from a Health & Safety background looking to further your career within a £300m turnover PE backed business offering the chance to develop your career through excellent training and development opportunities?Are you a Health & Safety professional who wants to work for an organisation that supports its staff and is set to double in size over the next 2 years?On offer is an assessor's role where you will be dealing with customers by telephone and email. You will undertake assessments of companies' management systems to ensure they meet the requirement of the SSIP Core criteria.You will ensure specific product service level agreements are maintained and ensure that capacity/team capability issues are brought to the attention of the Technical Services Director in a steadfast manner.Responsibilities:

Perform allocated health and safety assessments in accordance with SSIP Core Criteria and internal standards
Ensure all assessments meet defined service level agreements
Carry out assessments impartially, consistently, and fairly
Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions
Adhere to professional conduct and the SSIP assessor's code of conduct
Contribute to team effectiveness by actively participating in group discussions, activities and exercises.
Stay up to date with relevant health and safety legislation, SSIP Core Criteria, and internal processes
Engage in ongoing professional development

The person:

Health & Safety experience preferably Construction
NEBOSH General Certificate
Demonstrate knowledge and experience to deliver information and talk confidently with Health & safety and industry professionals
