Based at St Sidwell’s CofE Primary and Nursery School
Salary: SC Grade 1 SCP 2, starting salary £7,257 per annum (£23,656 FTE)
Hours/weeks: 12.5 hours per week, 2.5 hours per day, 3.30 – 6pm 41 weeks per year
Contract term: Permanent
Start Date: January 2025

We are looking for a dedicated and conscientious School Cleaner to support in the maintenance of our loved school building.
Key Purpose and Level of the Role
• Work under the direction of the line manager and day to day manager
• Provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring the highest hygiene standards and cleanliness for the health, safety and wellbeing of the pupils, staff and other visitors to the academy site.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is hard working, flexible and proactive in keeping our site safe and attractive
• Can use their own initiative and work independently
• Is capable of undertaking a role that can be physically demanding
• Has a good understanding of Health and Safety procedures as they relate to School cleanliness
