Workplace Technology Specialists
Responsibilities And Duties
- Communicate proactively with managed service provider and staff regarding the status of their support requests and any relevant updates.
- Install, move, or remove workplace technology equipment.
- Assist with Workplace Technology projects.
- Manage and maintain the Video Conferencing Equipment.
- Manage, maintain, and issue mobile phones.
- Monitor monthly Azure platform reporting and flag any concerns i.e. increased cost or usage.
- Document Workplace Technology processes and procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the field of IT support, and recommend relevant innovations for adoption.
- Inventory management of hardware and software assets, including tracking serial numbers, licenses, and warranties.
- Provide workplace technology support for Situ inhouse events e.g. quarterly comms events.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the field of workplace technology.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and best practices.
Experience And Attributes
- Friendly and Approachable
- Good grasp of basic fault-finding methodology
- Excellent understanding of Windows operating systems
- Good understanding of Apple iOS/OSX
- Good understanding of Intel laptops and desktops
