About the Role
Are you an experienced Class 2 ADR tanker driver looking for a rewarding role that offers great pay, stability, and no weekend work? We are working with a leading chemical company to recruit a skilled Class 2 ADR Driver for an exciting opportunity in Plymouth.
In this role, you will be responsible for organising and scheduling cryogenic deliveries, ensuring compliance with ADR regulations, and maintaining high safety standards. What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Daily Deliveries: Organize and schedule cryogenic deliveries to customers in Plymouth and surrounding areas, ensuring compliance with all relevant ADR and safety regulations.
- Customer & Sales Management: Develop relationships with key customers, achieving delivery targets, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and in line with company standards.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the business through contract negotiations and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Collaborative Maintenance: Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure equipment stays in optimal condition.
What Makes You Great
- Experience: You have a Class 2 (LGV) driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
- ADR Certification: You hold a valid ADR license (Hazardous Goods) and are experienced in driving tankers.
- Self-Motivated: You can plan and manage customer deliveries independently, ensuring targets are met.
- Customer-Focused: You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in sales and negotiation is a plus.
- Safety-Conscious: You are committed to safety, integrity, and best practices in everything you do.
- DCPC Qualification: You possess a DCPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
