Who cares that the job of a child protection social worker can be tough? We do.
In Norfolk we've invested millions to completely change our operating model and create the professional and emotional support around you that you need to do the job you trained for, to get the best outcomes for children and families, and to achieve a work-life balance that suits you.
We're realistic about the challenges, but we're passionate about how we can support you to meet them, so you can enjoy the rewards social work has to offer.
Are you looking for a new and exciting experience which offers you time and space to work with children and their communities?
Applications are sought for the role of Social Worker within a dynamic team working with children who have been deemed at risk of exploitation and serious youth violence.
The FAST Youth team works across the county targeting some of our most vulnerable children at risk of extrafamilial harm. Due to the nature of the role, you will have a protected caseload to allow you to work intensively with children and adolescents in the hope to bring about positive change.
We are a diverse and committed team, supporting the children and their families across Norfolk.
We are looking for Social Workers who are passionate and skilled in engaging adolescents and their families, who have a drive to bring about positive change and work alongside partner agencies.
For further information regarding this role, please see attached the job description and personal specification or contact Team Manager, Pip Feavyour, on 01603 224022 or email for an informal discussion.
