## Job Summary
For UK resident only. You must drive aand have a car. LIVE-IN. Horse experience a MUST. No formal gardening education needed just some gardening experience or desire to learn. Farm, sheep experience, handy or a desire to learn. A varied, wont get bored, horses, gardening, pet sheep, farm, 5 chickens role. Need to be physically fit, organised, love nature, animal lover, industrious, active. At private home in, Devon. Rural yet Exeter 20mins drive. Horses (4 lrg, 7 minis, 6 stables, 5 paddock shelters, 4 paddocks, helping with 28 rescued Devon Longwools, 5 chickens, 7 dogs. No riding, no teaching, no livery. Just us. Thursday/Friday your days off as you work across the weekend. No pets. No couples. No smoking. An independent soul who loves: animals, horses, farm, nature, being busy, doing all sorts either side of the horse aspect. We are skilful, efficient, upbeat, fun yet serious about what we do and we work hard for the animals at this private home. You are: great with horses, organised, efficient, pro-active, take initiative, experienced, confident, find solutions, problem-solver, physically fit, honest, caring, helpful, multi-tasker, like to make a difference, get on, dont need micro-managing, can hold the fort, and are great to work with for rest of the small team, look for what needs doing and do it and have a good sense of humour. You have great horse experience and a beautiful way with animals. Gardening experience even your own garden with a willing attitude; like learning new things; farming experience sheep we can teach you. You can help mend fencing, rescue sheep if escaped, drive farm truck to get things, house/dog sit with team mate when we are away. 20 mins from Exeter City centre. NEED TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR CAR but have farm truck for farm business. You’ll be security checked. References too. Accommodation on site.

## Duties
- Gardening, weeding, strimming, mowing, hedge cutting etc etc.
- As needed help with sheep
- Horses all aspects
- Assisting with healthcare of horses, sheep, chickens
- Monitoring horse and sheep health and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Assisting with basic veterinary care under supervision as taught
- General horse stuff in barn, shelters, paddocks
## Qualifications
- Experience in a garden, animals, horses, stable/barn/paddock maintenance equipment, no need for formal degree if you have the proven experience, love and passion for animals and nature
- Basic maths skills for measuring feed and supplements
- must drive, clean licence,
- Previous experience with horses a must
- Love animals
- Mechanical knowledge for handling equipment
- Familiarity with arena upkeep and maintenance tasks a plus
- Love dogs and happy helping when owners are away looking after them
- Capability for heavy lifting to handle feed sacks and equipment
- physically fit
