Temporary Receptionist
Outskirts of Exeter
Fixed term, 4 - 6 weeks , ASAP start
Minimum 4 days cover per week, 8:00am- 6:00pm, half hour lunch

Our client is seeking a receptionist to join their friendly and busy team! Working within a team of 15 people you will provide crucial support within the admin team, contributing not only to the medical practice but providing an essential service to their patients! You will be responsible for providing a range of reception duties as well as administrative support across the multidisciplinary team.

The role of Receptionist:

To be the central point of contact for patients, assisting with and distributing information and enquiries
Welcoming patients and visitors to the organisation
Monitor and maintain appointment booking systems and patient registrations
Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and secondary care services
Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed

The ideal Receptionist:

Strong administrative experience
Previous GP experience, with the use and understanding of System 1 is essential
Excellent people skills, emphatic and friendly manner
Effective time management, organised and able to plan work load
Strong IT skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Motivated and able to work with high levels of integrity at al times
