The Old Thatch Inn is a family run business that has been open since December 2022. We are looking for an enthusiastic General Manager to help us continue to grow our business as we look towards the future.
As General Manager you’ll bring your experience to the table. From the moment you step through the door, you lead by example. You'll pull everything together to make sure our guests, and teams, have a great time.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As General Manager you will -
- Be a champion of our high standards & ensure guest & team safety at all times
- Support the head chef and owners in the day to day running of the business
- Lead the team to deliver moments that please our guest, keeping them coming back
- Be the role model and guide training and development within the team
- Have previous experience and confidence in managing a team
- Have a passion for hospitality (if you know, you know!)
- Be a role model of giving great service
- Be a good communicator
- Be ready for anything the day throws at you (not literally)
- Be in charge of ordering and stock control
- Manage staff rotas
- Be capable of hiring and training new staff
- Organise and run events
- Bring ideas to the table to help us continue to grow the business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
