We are looking for am experienced Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join a vibrant and forward thinking company in the heart of Exeter.
Delivering packaging products daily, the right candidate will possess a can-do attitude and will join part of an exciting team that is on the up.
Legal adherence, Punctuality as well as customer service skills are all required – and this B2B delivery Logistics role will be fast moving as well as rewarding.
Experience within the transport and logistics sector will be an advantage – although newly qualified drivers will be both afforded training and welcomed.
Job Overview:
Safely and punctually Transporting products to locations throughout the southwest - with occasional routes spanning the UK
Deliveries conducted on a Class II (Cat C) Curtain-side (Rigid) vehicle with tail lift - so candidates must ensure correct loading/strapping of loads
Occasional 3.5t Driving/Warehouse work maybe required
Assisting with the unload of products upon delivery.
Abiding by all current traffic law/legislation at all times.
Monday to Friday – Reduced schedule (early finish) on Friday
Requirements:
Full valid UK HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
Full valid driver’s DQC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience driving an HGV Class 2 ( preferred )
Maximum of 6 penalty points and no DD/DR endorsements (Insurance)
Experience and competent in current road/traffic legislation/Highway code.
Willing to help with handball of materials
