We are looking for a COMMISSIONING OPERATIVE in the Exeter area

Contract term: Permanent – Full Time

We are a water commissioning company that completes swabbing, pressure testing, chlorination, de-chlorination and sampling of new water mains. The tasks we carry out are to ensure the water mains have been installed correctly, but also to ensure the water is safe for human consumption (drinking water etc)

No experience is needed as ongoing training (internal & external development) will be provided.

We are based in Corby, however you will be working all over the country depending on your location. You will be required to travel between sites, so a full UK driving license and enjoyment of driving is essential.

Work is planned based on your location, with the maximum drive to site being no greater than 90 minutes. Throughout your training period, you will be shadowing one of our commissioning operatives who will provide 1-2-1 training onsite.

We have worked on and are working on some of the most notable events in the UK – Leicester City’s training ground, Liverpool’s football ground, York City’s football ground & Tottenham’s football ground to name just a few.

Salary, Benefits and Hours:

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000
Working days: Monday – Friday (overtime work available – weekend work (overtime double/triple time) & overnights (overtime, plus hotel & food allowance)
Company van, fuel card, PPE, all equipment & training/tickets provided
Annual leave: 21 Days, plus Bank Holidays, plus Christmas shut down
