Aurora HVAC is a fast growing Mechanical and Electrical Company specialising in HVAC systems with our head office in Plymouth and a nationwide coverage. We are looking for a Junior Estimator to support the senior Estimator, procurement and commercial management of our projects
Experience:
· Construction Industry Knowledge preferable.
· Surveying (working site) 1 year preferable
· Minimum NVQ level 3 Qualifications
· Experience in reading floor plans and interpretating project specifications.
· Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy in costings
· Strong organisational and negotiation skills
· Be unaffected by high pressure scenarios
· Clean driving licence
Duties
· Produce take offs from Drawings and creating Bill of materials
· Compose detailed quotations for clients including labour, materials and Equipment.
· Arrange the procurement of plant, materials and labour for live projects.
- Obtain Regular supplier quotes and maintain materials and labour database with current rates
- Conduct Detailed site surveys, to include written reports as well as Photos and videos using company software.
· Attend site meetings with stakeholders (initial survey, Progress meetings, Valuation Surveys)
· Effective verbal and written communications with stakeholder.
Remuneration package will include
- 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays (additional 1 day paid holiday per full year of employment – to a maximum of 5 extra days).
